If you're using a rip like Onyx Postershop it has a setting to preserve
pure colors so you don't get contamination of other colors when
requesting pure cyan.
OTOH, there is nothing wrong with a small amount of yellow printing in
the cyan. What may be the problem is your reference color space. The
printers cyan ink is more pure than the cyan in the color space you're
referencing so it's adding the color to try to match it.
