Duotones or N-color images are not covered -- yet -- by the ICC specs. So,
AFAIK, there is no way to insert any color information in Duotones. As far
as compensating for press conditions you should not have to adjust curves. A
grayscale profile will do the job exactly as far as dot gain is concerned.
