Thank you for your reply. That is interesting information, but from the
little I know it doesn't seem to me that ScanOpen could actually be seen in
the same league as ProfileMaker or Monaco Profiler regarding its scope and
intended use, can it?
Still, my question remains: Why can't one or several of the major high-end
profiling packages include an iterative option? Maybe there is a good reason
why not, but what is it?
