Darren,
ColorBurst offers both Mac and Windows version of Rips for the 2200.
Both rips provide a very good out of the box experinece using their supplied
CMYK printer profiles.
The Mac side offers the best pricing. And you should remember that when
comparing the ColorBurst Mac rip to other rips, the ColorBurst Mac rip
provides PostScript as comapred to say ImagePrint that only offers raster
options for close to the same price. So if you are going to compare
PostScript rip to PostScript rip you should consider that.
Also the ColorBurst rip now has a really cool feature that automatically map
Pantone colors to try and get the best possible match.
But that is only important if you use Pantones.
My .02
Jim Rich
