Should the grey balance match exactly or should it be a little warm?

Seems to me it should match. Am I thinking correctly or am I just dreaming?

Mike,
What gain are you running your ctp at on your plates? Were your press
satisfactorily matched the analog Color Art CR-T3 before? I just made a
quick study for a local printer and found that the dot gain they set their
ctp at is critical for press color matching because certain colors that they
were able to match before, some pale ochers, all of a sudden ar out of
reach. So, IMO, before you start to tweak further your e1000 profile I'd
take a close look at your ctp gain. Are you running a linear dot? If you do
all your separations have to be made accordingly.
