The advantage of having multiple ColorSync Utility browser windows open
is that you can do side by side comparisons. Compare one filter to
another, compare one profile's 3d plot to another, compare one device's
settings to another. There isn't a need to compare preferences or
profile first aid side by side, but given the tabbed nature of the
browser it's more elegant to open a second identical browser than to
have some tabs be openable in a second instance and others not. If you
don't want to open a second window then don't open a second window,
it's just an option.
