ID3 has fixed theK-only problem. That's fine if all the text in the doc was created in ID3...

In terms of reviewing and writing, are you saying that there is a bug in Adobe InDesign 3 that causes black type to convert to multiple separation planes? If there is a bug I agree it would be crippling and the behaviour and its remedy should be shared for the user community to find help, just as in the past when bugs have been determined everyone has shared information with manufacturers and with the user community.
