Is that the case with ALL Ultrachrome yellow ink? Used in the newer Epson
printers (4000, 7600, 9600, 10600)?
By metamerim (I know the term has been beaten to death here and unleashes
the flames of hell whenever mentioned) do you mean to say that all the
*other* Ultrachrome inks (C, M, K, Lm, Lc) have a 'constant' appearance
under various light sources but the Ultrachrome yellow ink, for some unknown
chemical and physical reason, does not exhibit this behavior? And therefore,
in a strictest sense, to minimize metamerism effects should be avoided like
the pleague?
If that's the case -- it may not be that extreme, would the pigment inks by
HP be know to exhibit less of that infamous metamerism? I mean, the choice
today boils down to, what, Epson and HP? So, can we favor one system over
the other on the base of ink 'metamerism'?
What about Roland inks?
