I don't have access to a DeltaE measurement device. The closest I can
come to that, would be to use my ol' photographic reflective spot
meter. In photo terms it would be about 1/4 of a stop in difference.
Not a big one but enough to bug me.

I have just purchased a new LaCie 22 IV monitor. Despite all the
adjusting I have done, when viewing my grey Mac "desktop" there is a
density difference that is slightly visible from left of center to
right of center. I have tried using 2 different computers and the
results were the same.
Is this normal? I have heard that CRTs aren't perfectly even from side
to side, but I thought a LaCie would be better.
Thank you for any responses,

Alex,
Do you have any means of relating that variations quantitatively? Do
you
have access to some colorimeter? Are you able to say how large a
"DeltaE"
variation you're getting?
