Well, I'm guessing that the LCD image will degrade - but I don't know what
the timescale is. We've got a number of Cinema Displays and I've got no
issues with what I'm seeing on any of them.
But, then somebody comes along and dumps a brand new Eizo on your desk and
you start to think about things... :-)
All of our displays are the old-style Apple ones. I don't know if the new
LCDs are different from the old ones? For all I know they could be sourced
from different manufacturers and have a completely different specifications?
I just want to get a few more facts before making a final decision on
whether the Eizo is worth it.
PS. My favourite screen at the moment is the 480x272 pixel one on my PSP.
It's a bit too shiny, but that enables you to see the gawping faces of other
commuters while you sit and watch movies on the train - incredible for
*palm-sized* device (we don't *officially* get the PSP in the UK until
September).
