No, in that case that's a real profile. I meant the majority of cases in which an image comes from a camera with the sRGB exif flag.
Also if I create a file in Adobe RGB working space in Photoshop and save it with said embedded profile then bring it into iPhoto and touch it, remember this file hasnt come within 10 yds of a camera, it does the same, it changes the embedded profile to Generic RGB without warning. Surely this is not right?
Hmm I see that too depending on what I do with the image. Brightness/contrast then export, image has the original profile embedded. But Enhance, B&W or Sepia then export yields an image without a profile. That's with iPhoto 4.
