In January I described a test I did to check the display differene
in Photoshop when a matrix or a LUT _monitor_ profile is used for the
monitor:

I uploaded the test files now here, so you can easily doublecheck:

You'll see in the deep shadows that there's a slight difference
between different CMM's (ACE, LCMS, Argyll), but for RGB values higher
(around) 10 you'll get similar results in all cases but not for the
display case of Photoshop when a monitor LUT profile is used.
I've heard (from an Adobe programmer) that the problem _should_ be
fixed in PS CS2, but I haven't had the chance to test this yet.
