Title: Re: background for spectro measurements
I also recall that when I purchased the Spectroscan table which I use for profiling, there were two options: one with a white base and one with a black base. I have the white base.
So, is there a standard for what the paper being measured should be sitting on?
Thanks,
Michael
I read that the current ISO 5-3 standard, which defines conditions of measurements for spectrophotometry and densitometry, was in the process of being revised. Among the changes contemplated is the issue of backing specification. I read that white backing is going in. Maybe that was old news but that’s all I heard about it.
