BTW, hacking some other profile like ProPhoto RGB or Adobe RGB (1998)
so that the system thinks it's Generic RGB, and then putting that into
the System Colorsync profiles location I think is just that. A hack.
You get what you get, and hopefully you test before relying on it.
There are some UI elements that use that profile as an assumed source,
so you might get some freaky colors here and there doing this. Also,
the profile is used as a destination profile, in certain instances, in
the print path.
So for the readers who are thinking they *NEED* to do this, we should
be clear that the suggestion is a hack and could cause other problems.
I, for one, suggest using Nikon Capture with 10.3.x until Nikon comes
out with an update for Tiger. Being an early adopter is often
overrated.
