In their white paper
(<http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/d/6/5d6eaf2b-7ddf-476b-93dc-7cf00
72878e6/WCS.doc>), besides opaque promo copy promising a "transparent color
management architecture" (sure...) and "color that just works" (hey, mine
works already!), they claim to be using CIECAM in their WCS (Windows Color
System) architecture.

I was at the Munsell Color Science Lab in Rochester last June, and, when
asked, the very people who are perfecting the CIECAM model (Mark Fairchild,
in particular) specifically said that CIECAM is still in the research phase
and NOT ready for the consumer market.

Or maybe they lied to me because they were working for Microsoft all along
and were prohibited from revealing that by a binding NDA...
