I have resisted upgrading to Tiger this far, and I am glad, since I hear
from Erik that the ColorSync implementation in 10.4 is lacking to say the
least.
For example, here is another fact reported by Erik that should raise a few
eyebrows if confirmed by others:

If verified as true, this means that Tiger is actually taking a step
BACKWARD.
Anyone at Apple care to comment on this worrisome decline in color
management support? What other changes are we to expect in the future?
Or should we all start looking at Microsoft's WCS and say goodbye to
ColorSync? Someone please speak up. This silence is making ME nervous (I
can't speak for others).
