Title: Simulate Paper Color and A2B0 tags
Hi guys – I hope this question makes sense and is on-topic.

If I were to print and measure a colour test target on non-white (eg light pink) paper and then ICC profile this, what colour would a 100% white page appear in a Photoshop soft proof with this profile WITHOUT Simulate Paper Color checked?  White?

When writing A2BO tags, my understanding is that the measured data is luminance scaled to be media relative.  How are the a* and b* components scaled (if at all) or rather how should the measured data be scaled such that L*, a* AND b* are scaled properly?

Thanks in advance

Steve
