Fellow color geeks!!
We have a client that is using a
Konica/ Minolta Pro C500 printer powered by a Fiery X3E color rip and they want their printer to match our proofs. (Epsons powered by a GMG rip) These Epsons we generate are very close to Gracol 7, but not quite, as we did the fingerprinting before Gracol 7 was released. We knew the general direction the were heading.... but not all the final aim points were released yet.( We will be fixing this in the near future ) My question is.... does anybody have experience with either of these items and can they be calibrated and then color managed. Anything I should look out for? I am having the client send me the documentation on both the printer as well as the rip, but was hoping one of you may have walked this mile before. Thanks in advance for all the words of wisdom you so kindly share with me.
