Hi Peter.
What I suggest is that one go to System Preferences -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Keyboard Shortcuts, then *uncheck* the whole Universal Access entry, *all of it*.
Universal Access is a feature useful to those of us who have pronounced vision trouble, and need to zoom in or increase contrast in order to be able to see the screen's contents more clearly.
I do understand that, for those who need it, this must be a very useful tool. But I would think that only a limited number of users need this feature, and it seems to me ill-advised on Apple's part to make it a default for *all* of us, with the attendant pitfall of triggering it unintentionally (which obviously happens more often than we know or are aware of), and with the consequences that we are struggling with here.
Best regards.
