Hello all,
I'm currently testing a Phase-One P30 back for capturing fine-art originals.
I've created a profile for the camera using a macbeth color checker and
Monaco software, using some of the information gained at the December
color managemnet conference, as well as information from Don Hutcheson's
scanner white paper.
I've captured the artwork using our profile, as well as Phase-Ones
supplied profile.
Both yield results that are off in different directions, but correctable
in Photoshop.
I have one specific question: Is it better to adjust white and black
points in the Capture-0ne software prior to processing the Raw file, or
leave the conditions as they were to create the profile, and refine in
Photoshop?
I have one general question, and that is what are the most important
steps I can take to improve my profile?
Regards,
