The only thing I've seen that comes closest to this functionality is
ColorEyesDisplay Pro's (and basICcolor Display) system profile selection
option, out of the File menu, for downloading different calibrations into
the monitor hardware LUT "on the fly".
As for wanting more black out of LCDs, William, I am not the one who
originally requested this 'negative' black. I was merely trying to respond
to Russel Proulx, the original poster, who was inviting comments on the
Multisync 90 "i" and "p" Series specs.
Incidently, I too studied the specs in that 90 Series PDF Russel refered to,
and I too came away with the impression that the advertised "Black level
luminance" feature was a NEC's technology designed to drive monitor black
levels luminance down on an LCD. There was nothing in the PDF that would led
the informed reader to conclude otherwise.
