Hi Henk and Roger
LCH Color Correction is indeed very logical and very intuitive, but how do you get folks to use it if they won't even work in RGB? I've been working with Fuji ColourKit Image Editor for a long time. As Roger said, it supports LCH Editing, but most scanner operators (it drives the Fuji Lanovia flatbeds) quickly revert to using the CMY % boxes. Incidentally Roger, are you using it to edit images or ICC Profiles?

P.S.: I used to promote CIE-Lab in the early nineties
with LCh color correction in LinoColor.

I have fond memories of my very first encounter with Linocolor and Lch
editing -- sounded like out-of-this-world concepts, at the time. Now, it's
so intuitive to me.

In my opinion, the best image correction software for
delicate color corrections.

Very powerful, indeed.

 At that time, however,
we were not able to convince retouchers and photographers
that Lab and Lch could solve a lot of color problems.

Those were the days of Photoshop 2.5! The printing industry was still living
in caves.

I wonder why Adobe still not has introduced LCh in Photoshop!
Henk

Obviously not their priority :(

Incidently, I've recently revisited Fuji ColourKit Image Editor, which
*does* support Lch editing and I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Very nice
piece of software. A little trying at the beginning because of the absence
of better documentation and tutorials, but very well worth it.
