Hi,
I appreciate what you are attempting to accomplish but before doing the monitor profile editing are you confident that your proofer profile is doing what it is being told to do? All applications you have mentioned allow you to toggle between different monitor calibration conditions.
for example if you create a set of LAB "problem colors" in PS and convert to your proofer profile and print then actually measure them, are they in fact what you sent?

We find this is quite helpful for retouchers (who are new or freelancing) since the Kodak really can't hit a clean shade of blue even though based on what's on screen that's what's expected. The saturated Blues lean towards Magenta. Also, yellows are much more saturated on screen then they are in print. Then there's the fact that we print to multiple paper stocks, and CN allows you to toggle between profiles and have multiple profiles. I'm just wondering if basICColor or ColorEyes Display Pro can do this too.
