Excellent point on color accuracy! The Matchprint proof will almost certainly be different today even if it was stored away from light. It is true that certain ink/media combinations will change over time even if kept away from light sources. I'm not certain if data exists on the longevity of Matchprint proofs in light-safe environments and it seems doubtful that anyone would bother to collect that data today.

Depending on their age and how they were stored, it's highly
unlikely that they are accurate for color anymore.
