Well, if ya wanna compare the porn industry to the creators of RF stock
photography, you'll get no argument from me. But, are ya gonna go after the
hotels for offering it or the producers who produce it? If nobody produced
it, it would be on the market...just like if RF photographers said no, what
would RF sellers have to sell?
In order to have a market, you have to have demand...but it's useless to
complain about cheap clients...you have to have distribution and you have to
have "content providers" (the shooter who produce the porn, uh RF
photography). If there is demand (which obviously there is) the only way to
stem the tide is to quit producing it...
So, if talented photographers COULD quit producing it, RF would be less of a
threat to the industry. But in this environment, good luck trying to
convince way too many photographers already in the market, not to do
whatever it takes to stay afloat...which is why we're in the situation we're
inĀand Adobe had little or nothing to do with it (except perhaps for making
software everybody uses to produce the porn, uh, RF stock).

Covered their ears and pretended color management would never work, so they
could ignore it (until they started dropping like flies because the cost of
business was/is choking them).
