Correct, but its not as if you don't get spectral data from the ICColor
with ProfileMaker/MeasureTool without a dongle...you do. The text file
you save will contain spectral data, however, you don't see the
additional options that MeasureTool has to offer for spectral
measurement data, such as optical density, dotgain, the ability to
change the observer angle and illumination, ect, without a dongle.

Moreover, even with a dongle, the spectral data exported from Colorport
won't by default allow these options to be enabled in MeasureTool, no
matter what the instrument. So it's nice that Colorport exports spectral
data, but it can't be used to enable spectral options in
MeasureTool/ProfileMaker (without manipulation), and spectral data can't
be used at all by Monaco Profiler, which is Lab only.
