Hi Todd,
I think the EyeOne LT has unique firmware which limits the level of
software it can talk to. As in full blown IOne Match.
The $80.00 saving may end up making the user need to spend their
money all over again if they buy the lesser device.
Either way the $250 is a small investment if the user cares enough to
have it look correct their labor is worth the money.
And it can be used on their future systems as well.
Im sure someone here can confirm this or not as to the limitations of
the LT.

Hey guys
Well, $250 is *kind of* a fortune, if all you want to do is cal &
profile a laptop, which Marco mentions is not that useful as a main
display anyway. A little web research reveals that the i1 Display 2
can be had for under $220, but what about the i1 Display LT
[ http://www.xrite.com/product_overview.aspx?ID=789 ],
which is about $140?
What makes the Display 2 worth $80 more than the LT? Does anyone
have any experience with both? Personally I just recommended the LT
to someone because she didn't even want to spend $200, and I
thought this would be plenty for home use. What do you think?
