Agreed, that's why I stay away from the design/creative community
where, arguably, the greatest benefit of color management could be
realized and stick with the folks that have the money...printers. It's
too bad really that the design/creative hasn't embraced the technology
as they stand to gain the most. But, the reality is that there's a lot
of folks on the creative side that their jobs depend on the LACK OF
color management (think press checks and chargeable image editing).
It's not always in their best interests that color management would
reduce the need for these services.
Even some, ahem, color correction gurus stand to lose some of their
"mystique" if they and their minions were to fully embrace color
management and camera raw workflows.
Sad.
