Dear Richard,

We use the laptop for rough edits and editing metadata while on the road - not for color edits.

Here's the new MacBook Pro gamut (LUT, ICC V4) vs the Eizo CG210:

On an emergency, I was to use my new MacBook Pro while I was on a trip to prepare a 16-page booklet and several relatively large posters for an exhibition booth. MacBook was profiled using latest basICColor (thank you, Karl!) and eye1 spectro rev. D. Booklet was printed on a Heidelberg press, posters - on a VuTek. The customer were satisfied, and they are not undemanding. Not that I liked the process as it involved a lot of eyedropping; yet it was more comfortable then using many high-end CRTs available 6 years ago.
