Hi Anthony.
Some links. All worth a look , some more in depth than others. The
CQI one is 40 pages long and a little more 'dense' . pic4press is
more compact , simplified , and although primarily aimed at UK
publishing is more easily read and explains the basic
principles. Those who have a longish memory on the pass4press and
pic4press guidelines will no doubt be pleased to see the move
towards ISO standards, although given some of the recent traffic on
this list , I'm not sure that we should go there right now :-). UpDig
guidelines are excellent ,but with less emphasis on CMYK supply at
present. All of them are non proprietary and are based on open and
transparent workflows .

More UK magazine specific but good as primers:

If you can get your supplier to read any of them , we may move the
world of digital workflow forward a little bit. And as we all know ,
every little bit helps <BG>. (Let me know what you think. All of
these documents are able to be updated and all feedback is much
appreciated.)
Good luck!
Bob Marchant.
