I'm searching for a "profilable" Xerox color photocopier Any happy
story? Or suggestions?
I have nothing but good good stories to tell from my designer and ad
agency clients that use them. As someone who has worked with print
professionals on all brands of color laser printers on a color
management level for over 15 years I feel strongly that Xerox is the
only brand to consider if you are picky about quality. Their whole
line of machines from the iGen to the 7760 are great.
The Docucolor 240/250/260 series represents Xerox's latest generation
technology. It's a modular system with a variety of options (3 RIPS
(the most affordable "bustled" RIP is dang good), binder, stapler,
etc). If you are used to the 7750 you will be very impressed with the
quality of the new toner and engine that these machines use. They
usually come with an EyeOne for profiling and/or daily linearization.
You'll want the Phaser 7760. It is extremely stable. The most
stability I have ever seen in a laser printer
I agree - the 7760 has been a fantastic performer for lots of my
demanding clients for years now. It is slated for a update to use
Xerox's latest toner technology (as found in the 240/250/260) but it's
not a photocopier as Roger requested.
