Hi Marco,
Bunt is a German word and means many-colored.
Unbunt means not-colored (white-gray-black and the gray
or K parts in color ) and in the eighties several
German, Swiss and Dutch lithographers used this technology..
Felix Brunner was a strong promoter and explained in his
white paper on that subject that we had to reduced the amount
of color and increase black.
With all the advantages such as a more stable process, a better
quality and less waste.
The correct application of GCR is unbunt "avant la lettre".
I somewhere have a German document describing the technology.
Most probably it's available in English too.
It's however still 'analog', but, if found, I will scan and send
this info.
Regards, Henk
The website of System Brunner is www.systembrunner.ch or www.systembrunner.com

Henk,
Could you please explain the meaning of "unbunt" in this context?
Or perhaps point us to a URL that explains this nomenclature more in detail?
Thank you.
