Indoor HDR scene setup

Hi, All
I am setting up an indoor test scene simulating the real outdoor scene with
a high dynamic range to test the HDR cameras. A set of illuminator with a
wide range of adjustable illuminance level (without changing the color
temperature) is highly desirable.
I was wondering, are there such illuminators available on the market.
Any suggestions for the scene setup greatly appreciated.

One approach I considered was the HDR display showing the linear (without
tone-mapped) HDR images or videos of the real outdoor scene. However, this
kind of display is still in the development stages and therefore no displays
are immediately available for sale.
Thanks
Cyrus
