Well, RelCol is the *only* type of conversion possible between matrix-based profiles. So, how do you prevent the possible clipping of saturated detail in this intermediate RGB-to-RGB conversion?

Fine. Nothing wrong with that. Still, I'm not sure I see the advantages offered by that intermediate conversion.
