Xenon photo flash lamps are typically around 5500°K.

i think the i1 could be used to measure the spectrum of the flash.
Indeed. I measured the spectrum, and it certainly looked smooth. My
point was that I was concerned that it's not precisely 6500 K (I think
it was ~6400 K), and wondered if that tolerance was OK, but if it was
OK for the halogen lamp, I figure it's OK for the flash, too. :-)
