Happens all the bloody time with AppleScript.

But, as this is a complete ditching of any ColorSync capabilities reachable directly from AppleScript, John (or somebody else from Apple) should have mentioned it here before us scripters got a nasty surprise last Thursday :-(

Similar thing happened in 2005 with the unannounced ditching of Image Capture Scripting in Tiger:
