Thomas, thank you for making this image available.
I have been using the Thomas Holm test image for several years to
evaluate print profiling software and spectros, and to check my own
software settings and my own profiles. I must have printed several
hundred sheets of the thing.
Any problem in the print chain -eg double profile application or a
defective spectro - can be detected visually by this image once you
are accustomed to it.
This test image is thus invaluable - however there are days when I
think a larger hi-rez version would be even more useful.
I sometimes print several images across (composite image in native
printer space), with mirror images, and concertina-fold in order to
facilitate comparison.
