Yeah, the press house goes through great pains to keep plates and prepress proofs in tight tolerance. Yet, press control is usually just measuring solid ink densities. File color control is not an issue at all. "Just give us a PDF" and you can proof it on the monitor if you like.
Two out of four IS bad.
