Hello Andreas:
I follow your articles when delivered, sorry for not to mention
before. Another source that comes to mind is GMG electronic magazine.
For your information is the oposite that I suposse you think, not
criticizing FograCert, but asking for "Color Management From Capture
to Any Output Cert".
I follow recomendations for digital image capture workflow from ICC
and recommend to my coleages, and when asist to workshops on color
management and image capture workflow is a disaster from the simple
glossary to the procedures and can't argue, in a archivist
environment, other than NARA proposals and a large number of small
references that have been gathering in five years of self taught and
25 years of experience as photographer.
As example, the past summer holidays spent part of break on caraterize
a simple sistem to reproducing black and white and color negatives and
slides in 4X5", 120 and 35mm, with DSLR to obtain a (small) DNG master
file limited by the size of camera sensor. Caracterized flash light
source (SPD, CRI), profiling for positive photographic artifacts,
ETTR, anti-ETTR for the negatives, procedure for tone mapping of
negative artifacts and positive develop (easy invert of linear curve),
individual focusing and framing, OECF, etc.
There is not literature about all the previous exposed process. That
is what I demand.
Sorry for the confusion if any yet.
What I'm sure is that we are not talking about "Colormanagement: Bugs,
bugs, bugs,..."
Jose Bueno
