I would be very very very very surprised if a current dSLR camera cannot
capture a Colorchecker SG :)
However something strange may be happening somewhere in your existing
workflow with that model that does not happens with other cameras.
Have you tried RPP? It is a dcraw - based Raw converter variant that has
a built-in argyll calibration module which you could use to do some tests
I am sure Iliah Borg would unlock it for you for tests.
