Sorry, I do that.
But I don't know why this debate has last so long.
Color Management is an issue on constancy BUT must be dinamic, even with
Preferences in Photoshop, ACR, Lightroom, RPP... And as have been said
shortcuts do the work.
For what I know any of us can talk about from own experience editing files
for web, inkjet, photogravure, presses or whatever from a disciplined,
normalized workflow, as ISO 9001 procedures's starting point.
I ALWAYS make use of softproof because image files need little adjustements
to move from ProPhoto to the gamut supported by the final device.
