Funny you should mention that.
I just checked the ColorSync utility and it uses the path that does not need an entry in the AppColorMatchingInfo.xml. Vendor Matching is selectable under Color Matching. But what I can’t understand is that for me "print as color target” is grayed out and not selectable. But “Hand off to printer” is selectable, so what is the difference, when I can choose No color correction in the Canon driver.
ACU I have had in my AppColorMatchingInfo.xml file for a long time now.
