but, my point is: there is no main colorsync ‘switch’. in terms of emission, software utilizes the colorsync api or not depending on whether it has an option for pre-convert-to-target [i.e. match the target locally via the colorsync api instead of leaving it to the rip’s cmm]. colorsync is neither on nor off—it is simply called [used], or not.
