Epson PK-HD (sure colors) and the most recent canon pro-line PK ink are all in
the same range depending upon driver and resolution. Equivalent or possibly
sometimes darker/lighter (again depending on paper) than my company's ink so
not sure what is special about this . . .
I think the really special ink that we (Vermont Photo Inkjet) just came out
with is our Matte Black carbon ink. This measures down to L* 12.45 on some
hahnemuhle papers . . . which is very unique to say the least.
