I don't know if this is merely perception or if it is real, but it seems to me that compiles go much faster with pbxbuild on the command line than in PB.

What is the relative quality of executable produced by the two compilers? I'm especially interested in this question as it concerns altivec apps.

I thought that I read once long ago, that you could use the CW compiler in PB. I couldn't find mention of this on the Metrowerks site when I did a quick look just now though.
