I don't see where else it supposedly reports that it accepts 2 I/O channels, but that's what the messages seem to indicate. (There's apparently some "default" format involved somewhere?)


Any thoughts where I might be going wrong?

Check the archives, this has come up and been answered numerous times...


I've Googled lists.apple.com, but only found one such reference, from an email entitled "Multichannel and AU". I don't see anything of interest there, really.


Anything specific I should look for besides the quoted error message above?

One note: this plug-in I'm working on is a Music Effect (it supports MIDI), if that's of any consequence.
