Our firmware guy is implementing the code for a new device which needs to
comply with the MIDI USB class specification. He is having trouble sending a
particular packet from the device to the class driver in Mac OS X, and
spelunking with a bus analyzer and the only known-good class-oriented
controller available to him hasn't helped because he's trying to use a
portion of the class spec which the controller doesn't use. I took a look at
Darwin to see if the driver had been open-sourced, but it looks like it has
not (though maybe I didn't look in the right place). If the driver is
published, where should I look? If it is not published, does anybody have
any ideas about how to debug such a thing short of asking DTS to help?
