So I've managed to accomplish the setup I want in AU Lab. But Debug- >Print Session does nothing at all. What is it supposed to do? I have a default printer that works. I see no window. Is there a file I should be looking for?

Use AULab and create a document that has something like what you want to cofigure - then from the Debug menu print out the session - you'll see how we are setting up a matrix mixer to push the input channels into various channel strips, and then another matrix mixer to route the final mixes to the selected channels on the device.

The MOTU ultralight has 8 analog outputs. I'm trying to map them to outputs of a matrix mixer.

I'm getting an error connecting to output channels other than channel zero.

I set the number of outputs on the matrix mixer to be the same as the number of outputs on the ultralight. Then I go spinning through them connecting the output n of the mixer to the input of output n of the ultralight. All but channel zero results in an error.

I have similar difficulties connecting to the output of the various input channels. I can only connect to one. I spent a bunch of time playing with HALLab. HALLab never seems to enable its controls and trying the soft play through results in a signal passing from input 3 (the only one I have hooked up) being passed to output 1 (left channel only) and this is not a clean signal - it just sounds like static.

So I'm kind of stuck - I'd like to see an example of what amounts to a virtual patchbay between the inputs and outputs of such a device using AUGraph and a MatrixMixer in the middle to allow routing from inputs to outputs.
