AudioUnit and iPhone

Hi all,
I'm trying to add a simple audio unit (i.e. tremolo) to my iPhone code. I'm lost and I was wondering if Apple provide an example how to do it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you for the help!

Gabriele
