Stephen,
I have tested with AULab and an Edirol FA-101 running at 192KHz on
SnowLeopard. I am not having any problems with distorted sound with
the exception of the AUPitch. Try running a generator track. Do you
hear the distorted sound with your plugins using a generator? If so,
do you have distorted sound with any of the Apple audio units (other
than AUPitch)?
I will file a Radar for AUPitch on your behalf. Thanks for letting us
know about the issue. There do not seem to be any general AULab issues
at that sample rate.

Is anyone else experiencing problems with sampling rates greater
than 96KHZ in AULab? I get distorted sound with my own plugins and
also with the Apple DLS synth. I only have 1 sound card that goes
beyond 96Khz to test with at the moment. This isn't a CPU overload
problem.
